the late night talk show you always wanted to see, but couldn't. The show that calls celebrities on their bullshit. No punches are ever pulled, no subject matter is taboo, no jokes are off-limits, as long as they're truly funny. The celebrity guests who appear on the show are ALWAYS dealt with accordingly. No hypocrisy is ever ignored, no
self-important attitude is ever not mercilessly dissected. Every other late night talk show compromises their product in some way in an attempt not to offend particular demographics. Effins sole objective is to consistently deliver uncompromising, unfiltered comedy that truly makes the audience laugh.

Ray was born Raymond Herf-fin. He changed it to "Effin" when he first got to Hollywood, for the street cred. Ray is divorced. He used to be married to his "announcer" Rufa. Ray brought Rufa in to do the announcing on the show so he wouldn’t have to pay her alimony and because he knew her Filipino accent and penchant for slaughtering the English language would be comedy gold. Ray has been obsessed with late night talk shows his entire life but was always disappointed with the product a little. He loved the medium but always felt his favorite hosts were holding back, not challenging themselves, pandering, or just gave up at some point and sold out.
Rufa met Ray when she was working as a hairstylist in Beverly Hills. She had always had dreams of becoming a star in Hollywood, despite not knowing how to act, sing, dance, write or do anything creative, she feels that it’s only a matter of time till her bubbly personality and captivating smile will land her the role that gets her an Oscar. Rufa loves the glitz and glamour of show business but has absolutely no idea the names of any actors or actresses, saying “You know, the guy with the thing on his face in the movie with the girl”. Rufa’s phenomenal accent is a combination of a Chinese nail salon employee and The Swedish Chef from "The Muppets". Rufa and Ray’s marriage fell apart after 4 years. She claimed she left Ray, not because of his lack of fortune (he was still pretty rich on paper) but because she felt he was screwing up his career and quote “making an embareass out of her.” She had also become infatuated with R&B singer Al B. Sure.
Ron is the leader of the Effin With Tonight band. He is Ray’s “unofficial” sidekick on the show - ala Kevin Eubanks. Ron is the consummate Rock & Roller. Originally from St Louis, he’s been playing guitar since he was 12 years old. Ron’s first band in high school was a death metal group called Infested. He then went on to join the legendary underground thrash group "Vacant Grave", followed by the psychedelic reggae group "The Skunk Buds", then the seminal hardcore punk band "Government Cheese" which led him to eventually form his current punk rock band The Dead Celebrities.
Dick Roebuck
Dick Roebuck is the assistant to Network Standards and Practices guru, Gerdy Berber.
Gerdy Berber
Gerdy is the network executive from Standards and Practices who is always hounding Ray about the content on the show. Gerdy is a deaf, blind alcoholic who has never seen or heard the show, but always has problems with it. He is led around by a young, sycophantic network executive named Dick Robuck who is trying to manipulate the show and lay the blame on Gerdy.
Jim is the Creator of Effin With Tonight, as well as an Executive Producer. He is the voice of Dick Clark and Gerdy Berber on the show. Jim was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Warminster, PA. In 1992, he began performing stand-up comedy at The Comedy Factory Outlet in Center City Philadelphia. It was a stand-up career memorable for the fact that it lasted 4 weeks and the final performance was on Friday April 10th, 1992, the day Sam Kinison was killed in a car accident. In 1994, Jim began as a freelance writer on Late Night With Conan O Brien . In 1996, he moved along to freelancing for Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher . In 1997, Jim began freelance writing for The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show and in 1998, he went on to work on actor/comedian Art Metranos one-man show entitled Twice Blessed: An Accidental Comedy , which is the humorous retelling of the comedic actors life and near-death story. In 1999, he once again entered the freelancing ranks with The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and that same year moved to Los Angeles. It was in 2000, Jim was hired as a staff writer for comedian Yakov Smirnoff who had a live weekly variety show in Branson, Missouri. In 2001, he began as a freelance writer for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and in 2002 became a staff writer with The Tonight Show till May of 2009, then then briefly on staff with The Jay Leno Show (the 10 pm disaster) till November 2009. In November, Jim 2010 began as a freelance writer for George Lopez' late night talk show Lopez Tonight on TBS. September 2010, Effin With Tonight was officially greenlit for production by Sony Pictures Television as an original webseries for Crackle.com, and was launched on September 2nd 2011.
Patrick was born in Paterson, NJ, on Nov. 14, 1964, and raised in Huntington Beach, CA. His father was an orthopedic surgeon and his mother was an actress who appeared regularly on television in the 1950s. She was active in regional theater when Patrick was growing up, and while hanging around that environment, he first became interested in acting.
He was cast in a small but terminally memorable role as David Puddy on the hit sitcom " Seinfeld ." During his two-season run, Patrick appeared only nine times on the show, but he made a lasting impression with his portrayal of the jar-headed, nonchalant mechanic whose relationship with Elaine was so unstable that the pair once broke up and got back together several times during an international flight.
Patrick generated quite a buzz for his work on " Seinfeld ," and for better or worse, began receiving offers to play similarly brash, egomaniacal characters like Johnny Johnson on " News Radio " (NBC, 1995-99) and Richard Hudson in " The Woman Chaser " (1999), his big screen leading man debut. Independent filmmakers were much more open to exploring Warburton's range, so he gladly accepted the opportunity to play a NASA scientist in " The Dish " (2000) and appeared as the head of the gay conspiracy in the Bob Odenkirk & David Cross film " Run Ronnie Run " (2002). The 2005 indie, " The Civilization of Maxwell Bright ," earned Patrick his highest acting accolades then to date, and was a success on the festival circuit both in the United States and in Europe.
He then donned a blue rubber suit to fight crime in the superhero spoof, " The Tick ." The show was well-received by critics and earned an instant cult following, but a lack of promotion was blamed for its early cancellation after only nine hilarious episodes. Warburton continued to make regular guest appearances on more mainstream shows like " 8 Simple Rules " (ABC, 2001-05) and " 24 " (Fox, 2001- ) before returning to television every week with a starring role as the married friend Jeff on the sitcom " Rules of Engagement " (CBS, 2007- ), co-starring David Spade and Oliver Hudson.
Patrick enjoyed equal if not greater success as a voice-over actor for animation and commercials, beginning in 1998 when he voiced Superman for an American Express commercial starring Jerry Seinfeld. Disney saw the promise in his manly, heroic baritone and cast him as Kronk in " The Emperor's New Groove " (2000), the sequel " Kronk's New Groove " (2005) and the TV spin-off " The Emperor's New School " (2006). In addition to work on other animated kid's fare like " Kim Possible " (Disney, 2002-) and " Buzz Lightyear of Star Command " (ABC, 2000-'01). Patrick retained his Puddy fanbase with the offbeat adult animation of The Cartoon Network's " The Venture Brothers " (Cartoon Network, 2005- ) and " Family Guy " (Fox, 1999- ), where he played the Griffins' paraplegic police officer neighbor, Joe Swanson. On Effin With Tonight , Patrick is the voice of Raymond Effin, the most comedically integrity-ridden talk show host who ever lived.
Jerrod Cardwell is co-executive producer and a co-writer on Effin With Tonight . He came up the ranks as one of the top writers in stand-up comedy, writing for George Lopez, Arsenio Hall, Jeff Dunham and regrettably Carrot Top (he kids Carrot Top). Recently he had the honor of writing for his favorite comic ever, "Maakies", which is drawn by the great Tony Millionaire.
Rachel was the winner of the Howard Stern Staff Impressionist Contest. She wowed Howard and his listeners with her spot-on impressions of Underdog Lady and Little Lupe and has made return appearances on the show. Rachels prodigy-like abilities were discovered by the producers of Effin with Tonight on YouTube and she has been picked by industry insiders to be the next great female animation voice artist. On Effin With Tonight , Rachel is the voice of Rufa, Chaz Bono and the kids in the Guess Who's Gonna Be Gay "game show" segment.
Peter Hulne is the voice of Ron the Effin With Tonight band leader. Peter is a well-known veteran of the improv scenes in Chicago and Los Angeles and as a member of the legendary troupe Beer, Shark, Mice. Famed for his amazing Springsteen impression, he is also known for his starring role on American Body Shop on Comedy Central.
Bumper is a voice over artist known for his work on such hits as A Different World , Enemy Mine and Futurama . Forget Kanye West

We shit you not, Jay Lamont does theeee BEST Barack Obama voice impersonation, bar none. No, seriously, you HAVE TO check out Ray Effin's "via satellite" conversation with the President. Jay is also a nationally headlining stand-up comedian who has been featured on BET's Comic View and Def Comedy Jam . His R&B voice artist impressions, world class beat box and his Jimi Hendrix guitar sounds are some of the coolest things you'll ever hear.
Greg is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, known to legions of fans as the host of The Greg Fitzsimmons Show on the Howard 101 channel on Sirius Satellite Radio and for his incredibly successful weekly podcast, FitzDog Radio .
In the late 70s, Billy West, then a full-time musician, began performing voices onstage in standup comedy routines in Boston. Eventually, he moved to New York and joined The Howard Stern Show where he voiced grotesque send-ups of the pretentious glitterati of the time and performed in the rarefied air of unscripted radio comedy,. He then went on to do shows like Doug (playing Doug Funny) and Ren and Stimpy for Nickelodeon. He has also played Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, and Popeye, but you probably know him best from Futurama , where he plays Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Dr. Zoidberg, among many others. On Effin With Tonight , Billy is the voice of the distinguished child psychologist, Doctor Vargus Elifar.
Joe began his career as a broadcaster in Waterbury, Connecticut, while still in high school. Since then Joe has worked on the air for the Fox, NBC, ABC and CBS TV and Radio networks, achieving success on and off camera. In 2011 Joe celebrated his 22rd year as the Voice of the FOX-TV Network.
For the last 13 years Joe has held a similar position as one of the Signature Voices at CBS. On Effin With Tonight , Joe is the voice of the announcer in
Dick Clark's new "commercials".
